Register as an Athlete
The GborkuSports Athlete Hub: one profile for your football or basketball career, from Liberia's 15 counties to Liberians playing abroad.
What the Athlete Hub is
Create a free account, build your sporting profile, add your clubs, schools and academies, upload photos and highlights you have the rights to, and ask our team to verify you. When your profile is approved, it is published on GborkuSports with clear labels showing what is self-reported, what our team has reviewed and what has been independently verified.
Who can register
- Football and basketball players of any level: school, academy, amateur, semi-professional, professional, university and college.
- Athletes in Liberia and Liberians abroad.
- Athletes aged 13 to 17 register with a parent or guardian’s email; we ask that adult to confirm they are your parent or guardian.
- Athletes under 13 are registered by a parent or guardian, who creates a guardian account and adds them.
Football and basketball
Football: positions, preferred foot, clubs, academies and competitions. Basketball: positions, school or academy, teams and competitions. You can add both sports to one profile. Official statistics are never typed in: they come from verified competition records in the Football Center and Basketball Center once our team links you to a team roster.

Please note: registering does not guarantee scouting, recruitment, contracts or scholarships. GborkuSports never charges to publish or verify a profile.
Your privacy
- Your date of birth, legal name, email, phone number and any address are never shown publicly. Only your age category and general location are.
- Nothing is published until you agree and our team approves it. You can take your profile down, download your data or ask us to delete it at any time from your dashboard.
- Identity documents are optional, seen only by our verification team, and deleted after the decision.
- For athletes under 18: nothing is published without a confirmed parent or guardian’s consent, contact details are never shown, and nobody can message them directly through GborkuSports.
How verification works
Verification is optional and free. Choose the simplest method that works for you: confirmation from your club, school or academy, a competition record that lists you, or a reference from a federation or institution. An identity document is only one option. Our team checks your identity, your club affiliations and your career entries separately, and labels each one on your profile.
Create your account
Parents and guardians
Choose “I am a parent or guardian” on the form to create a guardian account. From your dashboard you can add a child, or accept an invitation your child sent. Our team confirms you are the parent or guardian before you can give consent. You decide whether the profile, photos, videos and the town are shown, and you can withdraw consent at any time.
